GKS Packaging is looking for you! Are you the service technician who never walks away from a fault, whether at the customer’s site or in our workshop? Do you like variety, responsibility, and a customer who can tell right away that things are up and running again? Then you’ll fit right into our team. Who are we? GKS Packaging has been developing, producing and selling vertical form, fill and seal machines for the food and non-food industry for more than 25 years. With over 2,000 machines installed worldwide, we are an established player in packaging. Chances are you’ve held a bag of crisps, sweets or vegetables that was made on one of our machines. What makes us different: - Everything is done in-house: engineering, production, assembly and service- A compact, informal family company with short lines- A young, driven team of die-hard technicians- No call centers, just skilled people who actually help the customer- Plenty of room for responsibility and initiative What will you do? As a service technician, you represent GKS at the customer. You make sure our packaging machines and peripheral equipment keep doing what they should, especially in the food industry. In practice, you will: - Carry out preventive maintenance and fix faults at customer sites- Tackle electrical and mechanical issues, every day- Provide first-line phone support to dealers and customers- Handle spare parts from start to finish, together with your colleagues- Support project engineers during installation and commissioning- Work in the Benelux, with the occasional trip further afield Who are we looking for? You’re a technical all-rounder, a team player, and a real machine whisperer. No 9-to-5 mentality, just someone who gets stuck in.
